Welcome to the Office 3 Portal

The purpose of the GVA Facilities portal is to provide information to residents, occupiers and tenants of Office 3, on the property management services provided for the benefit of all & to ensure that the interests of all parties are met.

Use of the Lifts

Lifts are primarily designed to carry passengers and light luggage and parcels.

Before the lift is used to move furniture, please call the Estate Management Office. This will avoid inconveniencing other residents and enable the on site staff to install the protective lift curtains to avoid damage to the lift cars and lock the lift off if necessary.

Emergency Procedures
A Remote Elevator Monitoring (REM) System constantly monitors the performance of each lift and automatically notifies the lift maintenance company control centre when any problems arise.

In an Emergency

  • The lift car is fitted with an alarm push button which should be pushed for at least 20 seconds to automatically connect to the lift company control centre by hands-free telephone link (24 hour operation):
  • The lift company control centre will immediately, and automatically, be advised of the emergency and location address.
  • An engineer will attend the building as soon as possible.
  • The lift company control centre will contact the estates management team.
  • An emergency operator will be able to talk to any passengers and advise them how long it may be before an engineer can reach the lift and release them.
  • Residents hearing the alarm should try to talk to the trapped passengers and, if necessary, call the estates management team.
If the Lift Doors Fail to Open
If the lift car travels to a floor but the doors fail to open automatically or when the door open push-button has been pressed, before passengers press the alarm push button, they should try to return to the floor where they entered the lift.
Reporting Lift Faults
Any problems with the lifts should be reported to the estates management team to ensure that proper maintenance is carried out as soon as possible and to monitor the lift’s overall efficiency and reliability.
