The purpose of the GVA Facilities portal is to provide information to residents, occupiers and tenants of Office 3, on the property management services provided for the benefit of all & to ensure that the interests of all parties are met.

Window Cleaning and Façade Maintenance and Repairs

GVA will organise cleaning services to all external glazing using cherry-pickers, truck-mounted MEWP to the upper levels of the Charles Street and Norfolk Street elevations, and a light-weight spider MEWP (under 10,000kg) to the North and East facades (for cleaning from the podium deck). The external window cleaning takes place 4 monthly, subject to GVA’s cleaning operatives seeking the agreement of the Local Authority.  Any cost resulting from this will be included with the cleaning costs.

GVA organise the cleaning and maintenance of all common area windows.  Tenants are responsible for all internal surfaces of glass within their demised areas.

Cleaning will usually take place in normal working hours and contractors have been instructed to take all reasonable care to ensure that as little inconvenience as is possible is caused.

All glazing repairs and maintenance of frames forming an integral part of the external façade or curtain walling will be carried out by the Landlord’s contractors.  Any damaged or broken glass should be reported to the Facilities Manager for immediate action.
